Caitlin Mackey Driscoll

Caitlin Mackey Driscoll is from San Diego, CA and lives in Los Angeles. She graduated from MIT in 2015 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. She was an Astronaut Scholar from 2013-2015. Caitlin interned at SpaceX while in college and started her career there full time after graduation, while earning a master’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering remotely from Stanford University. She works on the Dragon program, sending crew and cargo to the International Space Station and low earth orbit. She is currently the Senior Manager of the Dragon Structures Engineering team, leading 40 engineers responsible for the structures, mechanisms, parachutes, payload accommodation and thermal protection systems for the vehicle.
